The next step is applying for a residence visa and obtaining an identification number (ID).
You will need to prepare:
→ The original and translated birth certificate.
→ The newborn’s valid passport.
→ A tenancy contract or proof of property ownership.
→ Parents’ income certificates confirming financial stability.
→ Health insurance for the child covering medical services.
→ If the mother is sponsoring the child, a no objection certificate (NOC) signed by the father.
After that, you can submit the application to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA). Once approved, your child will receive a residence visa and ID.
